This is a real story:
One of my patients complains having pain on the heel every time she wakes up in the morning, and after walking for long times. Every day in the morning is a disaster because she experience serious sharp, #Burning pain when she walk!
I did physiotherapy for her (#Dry needling, therapeutic massage and electrical stimulation). The next day after the physiotherapy treatment, she feels like something is missing after she wake up in the morning.
Then, she quickly realizes that her heel pain is #Gone.
There’s a strong connection between wearing high heels and developing #Heel pain (Medical name: plantar fasciitis).
High heel distribute your weight unevenly and put the arch of your foot into #Unnatural position. Thus, it put stress on your arch and cause soft tissue tearing and inflammation.
In addition, wearing heels can also lead to back pain, neck pain and shoulder pain since it disturb the entire body’s #Alignment as the weight is shifted unnaturally to the foot.

Tips 1: Fit is #Crucial. Don’t buy heels that too small. Get the exact right fit.
Tips 2: Keep in mind that slopes is more important than height. Look for a thicker heel to distribute weight more evenly and look for heels that are sloped #Gradually.
Tips 3: Lower your heel height gradually. Don’t immediately change from wearing flats!
Tips 4: Don’t afraid to wear a little heel. Supported shoes with a very slight heel can actually better for your feet than unsupported flats.
Tips 5: #Stretch your calf muscle and foot before and after wearing heels to keep key muscles and ligaments strong and in good position.
Tips 6: Wears heels for short period of time. Try to wear them only to #Sitting events.
